Color:

Though the only color I received was black, NoreveUSA offers nineteen colors and three textures to choose from. It seems that they only have black in stock at this time, but you can special order any color or texture and it will take approximately fifteen business days to reach you.

Fit and Design:

The Blackberry Pearl fits nicely in this Noreve case. First, slide the top of the phone into the top rail system. Then, fit the bottom portion of the phone into the bottom rail system. Removing the Blackberry Pearl from the case is a bit more difficult, but it is doable. On the “up” side, it just means your Blackberry won’t be going anywhere once it’s in the case! As far as the design goes, every part of the Blackberry is covered in high-quality leather with the exception of a few openings Noreve has allowed for the Blackberry so that it may perform all basic functions including access to the USB cable, headphone cord, volume adjustment, etc. As well, there is full-screen protection on the exterior of the case, and speaker protection with stainless steel wire mesh. Additionally, a plastic removable belt clip is shipped with every case, but this feature is optional for every Noreve customer as to if they want to actually attach the clip or not. Finally, the camera lens is left accessible as Noreve has allowed an opening in the leather for this feature.

One thing I’d like to quickly note is that when you first receive your leather case and fit your Blackberry Pear inside, the case will not likely close easily. This is due to the high quality of the leather which is still tight and just needs a little bit of stretching so that it can close properly. With my case, I simply closed the case as far as I could with my Blackberry inside and then placed a book on top for a short while to help stretch the leather. That was all I needed to do, because soon after the leather had stretched enough and my case closes perfectly.

Protection:

Due to the quality of the leather and the additional padding, your Blackberry Pearl will be fully protected. The only slight exposure is for functionality purposes, and even still the phone will be completely protected.

Quality of materials:

While this case is extremely light (weighs a little under 2oz.), the nice leather offers durability and protection. The hand-crafted leather is flawless (unless you buy any of the Vintage cases) and is attractive for any customer. I would say the black case might appeal more to men, but as stated above, Noreve offers nineteen different colors and three different textures so any other customer who doesn’t want the black color has a large variety to choose from.

I would definitely recommend this Noreve case, as it will protect your Blackberry Pearl through every basic function. It’s sleek, practically weightless, attractive in design, and high-quality to ensure durability through all that your Blackberry may endure.
