I don’t think there’d be anything I would change about the design of this case. Not only is it attractive, but it’s also simple and function-accessible and high-quality. I cannot ask for anything better than that.

Protection: 9.5

Though there are openings in the leather for functions leaving small portions of the device exposed, I don’t feel that the security of the device is compromised in any way. But take a look at the pictures yourself to see.

Functionality: 9.5

The case has a top flap to cover the screen, so you do need to unsnap the flap to access the screen, but the case doesn’t prevent from accessing any function of the device. The camera lens is protected yet available through the opening in the leather of the case, and functions on the side of the iPhone are accessible. Besides being accessible, this case allows access to each of the functions easily and quickly. There are no obstructions to any functions on the Apple iPhone!

When I saw the Noreve case for the iPhone I was pleasantly surprised. It’s attractive, light, slim, accessible to functions, and high-quality. I could not be more pleased with how well the iPhone fits in this case and how accessible it is. I would absolutely recommend this case to anyone.

Color:

The colors I’ve received are Olive Green from the Perpetual Selection, though I’d say it’s more of a darker lime than olive-colored, and the Baby Blue which is a nice, light blue color. I like the colors because they’re fun but still look classy, especially with the iPhone in place.

Fit and Design:

I must say the iPhone 3G fits in this case perfectly. It fits into the rail system like a shoe, holds closed with a snap that is simple and accessible, and makes the iPhone look incredibly slim. The rail system allows openings for the functions on the side of the device as well as an opening in the leather for the camera lens. It’s also easy to slide out of the case which has sometimes been a difficulty I’ve found with some of the tight-fitting Noreve cases. It just depends on how tight the leather is on the case you receive. But even if it’s difficult at first, if you work on the leather it will start loosening up. The style of this case is attractive and extremely accessible to the screen by simply unsnapping the strap and opening the top flap. On the backside of the case, Noreve has also allowed a screw for an optional belt clip. The interior of the case is just as beautiful as its exterior; the embossed Noreve logo is attractive and there is one ID, business card, or credit card slot. The design of this case is practically flawless in my opinion, and I really think Noreve has done a great job of fitting the needs of any customer.

Protection:

The only parts of the device left exposed are the couple of inches on one side left accessible to the functions of the iPhone, as well as the top corners of the device that aren’t protected by the rail system. That said, if dropped, I don’t think there would be much, if any, damage. It’s completely up to you, but I don’t think the slight exposure will negatively affect the device while in the case. Otherwise the screen, top, bottom, and sides of the case are protected.

Quality of materials:

This hand-crafted leather is extremely high quality. Weighing less than 2oz., this Noreve case has beautiful, smooth leather, tight stitching to insure long-lasting quality, and symmetrical openings in the leather. Even the Noreve logo and screw is nice-looking.

Conclusion:

I can honestly say that I’d highly recommend this Noreve tradition leather case for the Apple iPhone 3G because it’s slim, it’s attractive, it weighs hardly anything, and is so well-made it’s practically flawless.
