It’s definitely a protective case- there’s no denying that. But there are a couple of exposures in the leather for device functionality, so take that into consideration when you order your case. I don’t believe your device will be harmed in any way, though. Otherwise the leather and padding will absolutely protect your Nokia from outside harm.

This Noreve case has been designed with the functionality of the phone in mind. All functions are accessible with the device still in the case and I have yet to find any obstructions that may hinder the access to any functions.

Color:

The color I’ve received from NoreveUSA is the solid Black from the Perpetual Selection of leather. The black color is sleek and classy-looking, and really nice for any type of customer. It matches with everything; it has a business feel and has just a straight-forward sophisticated look.

Fit and Design:

The design of this case is beautiful. Noreve really has done an amazing job of designing a case to fit the Nokia N97 perfectly. Upon receiving your Noreve case, simply place the Nokia device into the rail system (the edges of the case), fold the top flap over, and snap it into place. The Nokia fits securely in place and it seems as if there’s no possibility for it to shift within the case due to its perfect fit within the rail system. To use the phone, unsnap and open the top flap, and there you’ll have full access to the screen. To use the camera, you’ll see that the top flap folds back enough to reveal an opening in the leather for the camera lens on the backside of the phone. The nice thing about this is that even though Nokia has provided a lens protector, the Noreve case offers an additional protection for the camera when the case is closed. As well, there are openings in the leather for the Nokia’s basic functions including the volume/zoom keys, the stereo speaker, micro USB connector, lock switch, power key, the AV connector, and more. The style of this case is attractive and really designed to fit the Nokia N97 perfectly.

Protection:

For such a nice phone, I do think it will be protected to its fullest. There are, however, a few openings in the leather for the basic functions, but I don’t think those openings will affect the security of the device. The leather and padding protects the majority of the phone so those few exposures shouldn’t harm the functions of the Nokia.

Quality of materials:

The leather is absolutely beautiful; since this case is from the Perpetual Selection, the leather is perfectly smooth and flawless. The stitching is tight, and the cut-outs in the leather are completely symmetrical, which is a great feat considering this case is completely hand-crafted. The case is slim, weighing just over 2oz. and while light, the leather is completely protective. Additionally, there is stainless steel wire mesh protecting the speaker which looks nice next to the smooth, beautiful leather.

Conclusion:

I think this is a beautifully designed case and would gladly recommend it to anyone. There’s no denying how amazing the device is; the Nokia N97 is a top-notch phone and absolutely deserves a top-notch case to protect it. Noreve has created just that; a high-quality leather case built to fit and protect the device with the utmost care and superiority. It’s sleek, slim, and sexy, and there’s absolutely no denying it. An overall fantastic case and fit for the Nokia N97 by Noreve.
