Review of Noreve’s Apple iPod Nano 5G Tradition Leather Case
Style: 9
Designed for such a small device, this Noreve case is elegant and slim, accessible, and durable.
Protection: 9
Everything is protected with the exception of the charger and headphone jacks. Otherwise the case is extremely protective due to the design of the case and quality of the leather.
Functionality: 10
This case is completely function-accessible. There’s access to the power switch, charger and headphone jacks, and camera lens without any obstruction from the leather.
Overall: 9
This is a nice, slim case for the iPod Nano 5G. It’s attractive, protective, function-accessible, and fits like a shoe.

Style: 10
As a pouch, there isn’t much more you can expect. The Noreve design protects against outside harm and the style is classy.
Protection: 10
There are hardly any openings in the leather and because of that I think this Noreve pouch has succeeded in what it has set out to do: protect the iPhone to its fullest abilities. The fantastic suede leather and padding protects from scratches and harm and is hard enough that it really will protect the device.
Functionality: 7
There is nothing about this pouch that communicates functionality. You’ll be able to recharge your phone, and that’s about it. But the point is to protect, not function, so keep that in mind.
Overall: 8.5
I do like this case, but I have a hard time with my inability to access basic functions of the iPhone. I’m glad the case offers protection, but I’d like a little more. That said, this pouch is high quality and Noreve’s luxury leather suggests sophistication beyond most competitors.

Style: 9
I find the style to be classy and thought-out, fitting the iPhone perfectly. Though there is no protection for the screen, the high-quality of the leather protects the rest of the device and portrays a suede elegance.
Protection: 7.5
I feel like I must take off points for the fact that the screen is completely exposed. Otherwise every other portion of the device is protected sufficiently while still allowing access to all basic functions of the iPhone.
Functionality: 10
There is access to all of the basic functions, including cut-outs in the leather for the camera lens, headphone set, charger, speaker, proximity sensors, and volume control. Everything on this Noreve case can be accessed very easily.
Overall: 8.5
I would highly recommend this case to someone interested in accessing the screen easily, as well as all basic functions. This case is simple and direct, there are no obstructions to accessing functions, and the quality of the leather provides elegance and a slim look. It’s a beautiful case; definitely recommended.

1 commentReview of the Proporta Dual Skin Silicone Case for the Apple iPhone 3G
Style: 9
Though it’s not as elegant as some other cases you’ll see here on CaseScoop, this silicone skin is attractive and has a way of making the iPhone itself look even better. The side grips even add a sporty, more interesting look.
Protection: 8.5
Everything besides the touchscreen is protected by the double layered silicone. A simple answer is to also purchase a Proporta screen protector. That way every aspect of the device will be accounted for and protected with the utmost care at an affordable cost.
Functionality: 10
I’m not lying when I say you’ll have complete access to all basic functions of the iPhone 3G. Take a look at the pictures; everything is accounted for.
Conclusion: 9
I am a big fan of this silicone skin. It’s attractive, protective, and completely function-accessible while still affordable. I’m sure not every customer out there will be a fan, but I definitely recommend it to those interested in a skin for the iPhone 3G.

1 commentNoreve Apple iPhone 3G Tradition Leather Case Review
Style: 10
I don’t think there’d be anything I would change about the design of this case. Not only is it attractive, but it’s also simple and function-accessible and high-quality. I cannot ask for anything better than that.
Protection: 9.5
Though there are openings in the leather for functions leaving small portions of the device exposed, I don’t feel that the security of the device is compromised in any way. But take a look at the pictures yourself to see.
Functionality: 9.5
The case has a top flap to cover the screen, so you do need to unsnap the flap to access the screen, but the case doesn’t prevent from accessing any function of the device. The camera lens is protected yet available through the opening in the leather of the case, and functions on the side of the iPhone are accessible. Besides being accessible, this case allows access to each of the functions easily and quickly. There are no obstructions to any functions on the Apple iPhone!
Overall: 9.5
When I saw the Noreve case for the iPhone I was pleasantly surprised. It’s attractive, light, slim, accessible to functions, and high-quality. I could not be more pleased with how well the iPhone fits in this case and how accessible it is. I would absolutely recommend this case to anyone.

iPhone case, news blast
On June 29th Apple crazed enthusiasts gather around AT&T stores to sign-up and purchase the newly released iPhone. As you may have guessed, we are not here to give you another review on the iPhone, but to give you some release dates on iPhone cases by leading manufacturers.
Here is the NEWS BLAST on two of the favorite cases that we are still waiting to receive and review. I have to say that it’s frankly disappointing to say the least that quality manufacturers are still working on the release of their iPhone case.
Krusell – Swedish manufacturer
August 9th, 2007 – Krusell announces their iPhone case. Pictures are released on their web-site (www.Krusell.se) but don’t run too quickly to your favorite Krusell retailer, because we were just informed that the release date is September 29th 2007. This is to say that you will probably not be able to sport your Krusell case till the second week of October. If you are looking to pre-order a Krusell case for your iPhone, click on the links below to login in your reservation, Question: Will it be hot or not?

It is a case. Plain & simple. The 13+ color options do help to make it yours.
Protection: 8
Complete protection, except for the bottom-right of the iPod.

A very nice slim design, but its still a pain to put on.
Overall: 7.5
(not an average) A good case that is protective. What else do you need?
